postsubiculum
The term postsubiculum refers to an area of cerebral cortex located between the subiculum or presubiculum and the retrosplenial area of the the rat ( Swanson-1998 ) and the mouse ( Paxinos-2001 ). In some atlases of the mouse brain the area is not labeled but is incorporated into the presubiculum ( Hof-2000 ).
