intermediate olfactory tract
The term intermediate olfactory tract refers to nerve fibers long thought to project from the olfactory bulbs to midline structures of the endbrain ( Carpenter-1983 ). It is now known that in mammals all fibers from the olfactory bulb reach other parts of the brain through the olfactory tract ( Price-1990 ). Updated 8 Jun 2024.
