lateral septal complex ( SPXl )
The term lateral septal complex (SPXl) refers to a composite substructure of the cerebral nuclei (CNU)) that includes the lateral septal nucleus (SPNl), septofimbrial nucleus (SFM) and septohippocampal nucleus (SHP) ( Swanson-2004 ).
