hypothalamic periventricular region
The term hypothalamic periventricular region refers to a set of substructures of the hypothalamus grouped on the basis of connectivity and function ( Functional CNS Model - Rat ). It includes parts of the anterior hypothalamic region and intermediate hypothalamic region ( Swanson-2004 ).
