area 10 of Paxinos ( 10 )
The term area 10 of Paxinos refers to a cytoarchitecurally defined area of cerebral cortex located at the frontal pole of the frontal lobe of the macaque ( Paxinos-2009a ). The total area is topologically equivalent to area 10p of the human ( Ongur-2003 ). It has three subdivisions: area 10M of Paxinos, area 10D of Paxinos and area 10o, which the authors name 10V.
