rostral subnucleus of the interpeduncular nucleus
The term rostral subnucleus of the interpeduncular nucleus refers to one of three or four subnuclei of the interpeduncular nucleus in the human ( Paxinos-2012 ) and the macaque ( Paxinos-2009a ). It is one of five to seven subnuclei in the rat ( Swanson-2004; Paxinos-2009b ) and the mouse ( Hof-2000; Franklin-2008 ).
