intermediate subnucleus of the interpeduncular nucleus
The term intermediate subnucleus of the interpeduncular nucleus refers to one of five to seven subnuclei of the interpeduncular nucleus in the rat ( Swanson-2004 ) and the mouse ( Franklin-2008 ). It is not identified in the human ( Paxinos-2012 ) or the macaque ( Paxinos-2009a ).
