caudal subnucleus of the interpeduncular nucleus ( IPc )
The term caudal subnucleus of the interpeduncular nucleus refers to one of three or four subnuclei of the interpeduncular nucleus in the human ( Paxinos-2012 ) and the macaque ( Paxinos-2009a ). It is one of seven subnuclei in the rat ( Paxinos-2009b ) and the mouse ( Franklin-2008 ).
