intercalated nucleus of the spinal cord
The term intercalated nucleus of the spinal cord refers to a column of cells in lamina VII of the spinal central gray defined on the basis of function as belonging to the sympathetic preganglionic pools of the subcortical motor system ( Swanson-2004 ).
