area 14M ( 14M )
The term area 14M refers to the portion of area 14 (macaque) on the medial surface of the frontal lobe. It is defined on the basis of topology. The portion facing the orbital (ventral) surface of the lobe is area 14O ( Paxinos-2009a ).
