default network
The term default network refers to a combination of cortical areas where fMRI activity is anti-correlated with activity in areas of the task positive network ( Fox-2005 ).. Also known as the 'task negative network', it includes area PGi, area PGs, area TE1a, area 7m, area v23ab, area10r and area 10v ( Glasser-2016 ).
