subcuneiform nucleus
The term subcuneiform nucleus refers to a histologically defined cell group located ventral to the cuneiform nucleus (CNN) in the human ( Crosby-1962; Carpenter-1983 ). The structure does not appear in recent brain atlases of human, macaque, rat or mouse ( NeuroNames ). Final 25 Apr 2025.
