transverse frontopolar gyri ( FPG )
The term transverse frontopolar gyri refers to three horizontal gyri located at the frontal pole of the human frontal lobe.They include the superior frontopolar gyrus (human), the middle frontopolar gyrus and the inferior frontopolar gyrus ( Mai-1997 ).
