spinal cord ( SPC )

The term spinal cord (SPC) refers to the long cylindrical portion of the central nervous system (CNS) that is encased in vertebrae of the spinal column. It is the link between the brain (BRN) and most of the peripheral nervous system (PNS). The SPC and the BRN together constitute the CNS ( Carpenter-1983 ). Final 23 Dec 2024.
