principal nucleus of stria terminalis
The term principal nucleus of stria terminalis refers to a component of the nuclei of stria terminalis defined on the basis of topology, connectivity and multiple stains in the rat. It is one of seven components of the posterior nuclei of stria terminalis in the Functional CNS Model - Rat ( Swanson-2004 ).
