coccygeal nerves
The term coccygeal nerves refers to the pair of spinal nerves that emerge from the coccygeal segment (SPCcg) of the spinal cord (SPC). In the human, some individuals have two pairs ( Schiebler-1999 ). Defined by dissection, they are part of the peripheral nervous system (PNS) and are found in all vertebrates ( Swanson-2015 ).
