retrohippocampal region ( RHP )
The term retrohippocampal region refers to one of two divisions of the hippocampal formation in the rat ( Swanson-2004 ). It is a composite structure that includes the entorhinal cortex, presubiculum, postsubiculum, parasubiculum and subiculum. The other division is the hippocampal region. (updated 9 May 2024)
